N Seoul Tower & Namsan

Ride Korea's oldest passenger cable car up Namsan, snap a love lock, then watch all of Seoul light up from the tower.

Getting there: Myeongdong Station (Line 4), Exit 3 or 4, then about 10 min uphill to the cable car (free Namsan Ormi inclined elevator on the way). Or take Namsan circular bus 01A / 01B to the tower stop
Hours: Observatory 10:00–22:30, Saturdays until 23:00 (last entry 30 min before close). Cable car 10:00–23:00
Closed: Open every day of the year
Tickets: Park and love-lock terraces free. Observatory adult 29,000 won, child/senior 23,000 won (official site, 2026). Cable car sold separately

Arrive about an hour before sunset to see Seoul in daylight, at golden hour and lit up at night. Weekend evenings mean long lines for both the cable car and the observatory.
The park, the love-lock terraces and the views around the tower base are free. The paid observatory is optional, so decide after you see the queue.
