Getting there: Gwanaksan Station (Sillim Line), Exit 1 — right by the Gwanaksan Park entrance next to the SNU main gate. Or Seoul National University Station (Line 2), Exit 3, then bus 5511 or 5513 into campus
Hours: Campus and trail: open access. Student Center cafeteria (Bldg 63): weekdays 8:00–9:30, 11:00–14:30, 17:00–19:00; Sat 11:30–14:00, 17:00–19:00
Closed: Campus/trail: none. Cafeterias follow the university calendar; visitors may be turned away at peak times
Tickets: Free. Visitors pay a bit more than students for cafeteria meals

SNU student cafeterias (Student Center, Bldg 63, and others) — cheap set meals; visitors welcome outside the rush, paying a little more than students
Sillim-dong Sundae Town — buildings full of stalls stir-frying baek-sundae and spicy sundae on iron plates (near Sillim Station)

Cafeterias restrict visitors at peak times — aim for after 1 pm at lunch.
Seoul Hiking Tourism Center (Gwanaksan branch) is in Gwanaksan Station B1: rents boots, clothes and poles, with English/Japanese/Chinese help; 9:00–18:00, closed Wednesdays.
