- Myeongdong Kyoja — long-running kalguksu (knife-cut noodles in rich broth) and mandu; free noodle refills are a known perk
Tip
- Street-food carts set up from mid-afternoon and are busiest around 17:00–20:00. Come a little before 17:00 for shorter lines, and bring some cash for the carts.
- Street-cart prices are higher than elsewhere in Seoul. Check the posted price before ordering; Jung-gu district has pushed price labelling since overcharging complaints.
