Suwon Hwaseong Media Art is a nighttime festival celebrating the fortress and its history through immersive media installations. Reimagined for 2026 under the theme "Saebit Dongrak: Suwon Hwaseong Blossoming in Light," it blends video, light, and live performance to create a dynamic visual experience.

What to expect

You'll encounter experiential and interactive media art installations spread across the Hwahongmun Gate and Jangan Park areas. The works trace stories from the fortress's construction to today, offering a mix of visual spectacles and hands-on activities that invite you to engage with the space in new ways.
